WSP's Ansgar Roese steps down from his position

In a recent turn of events, the position of economic developer at Economic and City Marketing Pforzheim remains vacant due to the withdrawal of Ansgar Roese. This development has resulted in a change in plans, as Roese will not be joining the organisation as originally scheduled.

Roese's departure leaves a six-figure saving potential for Economic and City Marketing Pforzheim, should the position be deemed unnecessary. However, the fate of the position is currently under discussion among the FDP and Free Voters, who are considering whether a separate management position for economic development is essential or if the task can be taken over by the director.

Meanwhile, Oliver Reitz, who previously held the position of economic developer in Miesbach, is being considered as a potential temporary replacement. It is possible that Mr. Reitz may receive an additional employee for support during the transition period. Even if a position for support is needed, significant savings would still be made.

It is worth noting that Ansgar Roese, who was initially scheduled to start working at Economic and City Marketing Pforzheim, is now working again as Managing Director of Economic Development in Frankfurt. His previous employer has retained him in his current position, leaving Economic and City Marketing Pforzheim without their intended new hire.

The FDP and Free Voters are advocating against immediate re-advertisement of the position. Instead, they are suggesting discussing the re-appointment during budget negotiations and temporarily assigning the responsibility to WSP director Oliver Reitz. This approach is considered manageable due to Mr. Reitz's capable employees.

In the meantime, WSP is left empty-handed due to Roese's inability to join Economic and City Marketing Pforzheim. The organisation is hoping for a swift resolution to the situation, ensuring continuity in their economic development efforts.
