WSOP Online 2022 Schedule Revealed
WSOP Online 2022 Returns with Record-Breaking Tournament Series
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced the return of its online-only festival, WSOP Online 2022. This year's event will take place exclusively on GGPoker for international players, while WSOP.com will host the tournament in the United States.
In 2022, the WSOP attracted a record-breaking 197,626 entrants and awarded more than $347 million in prize money. WSOP Online 2022 aims to surpass these numbers with an even larger schedule and bigger prize pools.
The tournament series will feature 33 bracelet events, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $25,000 for high roller events. The Main Event will offer a prize pool guarantee of $25 million, and hundreds of side events will be available, along with $5 million in special promotions.
The overall schedule will span several weeks, running from mid-August through the end of September, closely resembling the schedule for later editions such as 2025. Players can participate in a variety of events, including the Main Event, with buy-ins scaled to accommodate a wide player base.
Online satellites and qualifiers, including affordable options starting as low as $0.50, will help players gain entry into these events under the WSOP Express system introduced by GGPoker.
New players on GGPoker are eligible to claim the poker room's Welcome Bonus and join the Fish Buffet loyalty program. Out-of-state players are invited and encouraged to participate in the series so long as their device is geolocated within state borders.
WSOP Online 2022 will also expand to Michigan and Pennsylvania, offering six weekly bracelet tournaments in addition to the 33 bracelets on the Nevada and New Jersey shared liquidity network. The $500 Monster Stack, $777 Lucky 7's, and $1,000 WSOP Online 2022 Championship will be available in all markets.
Each bracelet winner from WSOP Online 2022 will earn a seat at the Tournament of Champions during the 2023 WSOP in Las Vegas. Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador and winner of six WSOP gold bracelets, stated that online bracelets are just as prestigious as live tournament bracelets.
WSOP Online 2022 marks the third year of the online tournament series, which established several records in its first two years of existence. The 53rd annual WSOP on the Las Vegas Strip awarded a whopping $347.9 million in prize money to a staggering 197,626 entrants.

A high roller can participate in the high-stakes casino-games offered in the WSOP Online 2022 Main Event with a buy-in of $25,000. This year, the WSOP Online 2022 aims to break the records set in 2022, with more tournaments, larger prize pools, and even a $25 million prize pool guarantee for the Main Event. In addition to popular casino-gambling events like poker, players can also look forward to participating in various sports-themed side events during the series.
