WSOP 2026 Expands with New Stops in Malta and Prague for Live Poker Fans

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has unveiled its 2026 International Circuit schedule, featuring new stops across Europe and North America. Malta and Prague will host major events for the first time, joining an expanded lineup that includes multiple destinations. Organisers have highlighted the growing appeal of live poker in these regions.

The 2026 WSOP International Circuit will kick off in Prague from March 31 to April 12, marking the debut of WSOP Europe. The event will centre around a €10 million Main Event, drawing attention as a key highlight of the season.

Later in the year, Malta will welcome its first-ever WSOP festival from September 25 to October 12. Gregory Chochon, WSOP's Chief Operating Officer, called the Malta stop a significant moment for live poker in the region. The tournament will award 12 international Circuit rings, with each ring winner also securing a $5,000 package for WSOP Paradise.

Beyond these new locations, the schedule includes stops in Liechtenstein, Amsterdam, France, Cyprus, and Estonia. Montreal will host three separate events, reinforcing its status as a regular fixture on the tour.

The 2026 WSOP International Circuit now spans eight confirmed destinations, with Malta and Prague joining as fresh additions. The Malta event aims to blend a top-tier location with the prestige of the WSOP brand, while Prague's €10 million Main Event sets a high bar for the series. No further regions have been announced for inclusion at this stage.
