In the heart of Astana, a new initiative is taking shape. The agricultural cooperative, Eco-Hub Astana, is set to open its doors, providing a space for residents to embrace a greener lifestyle.

The project, spearheaded by Eugene Mukhametzhanov and his organisation, ECO Network, aims to cater to both adults and children, fostering eco-friendly habits from an early age. This is in line with the goals of the national project "Clean Kazakhstan", an ambitious endeavour to improve the country's environmental situation.

The Eco-Hub in Astana is not just about planting trees and clean-up campaigns. It seeks to integrate waste segregation and conscious consumption into the daily lives of its residents. Residents can expect to sort their waste, receive education, participate in workshops, and engage in forming eco-friendly habits.

ECO Network, an organisation that has been championing eco-culture for seven years, has already proven its success with the first eco-hub opened last year in Almaty. The Almaty eco-hub has already hosted events for 15-20 thousand people, demonstrating its popularity and impact.

The author of the initiative, Eugene Mukhametzhanov, believes that changing individual behaviour can lead to systemic change. He emphasises the importance of waste segregation and conscious consumption in daily life.

The Eco-Hub in Astana will also encourage the use of eco-friendly, locally produced products. This not only supports local businesses but also promotes a sustainable lifestyle.

The Eco-Hub in Astana, like its counterpart in Almaty, will provide a space for residents to sort their waste and engage in educational activities and workshops. It is expected to become a hub for the community, fostering a culture of waste segregation and conscious consumption.

With the Eco-Hub in Astana, residents can look forward to a greener future, one step at a time.
