Polestar Makes a Splash at the FAT International Ice Race and the Mille Miglia

Polestar, the electric performance brand, has been making waves in the world of motorsport, recently participating in the FAT International Ice Race and looking forward to the Mille Miglia in 2025.

At the FAT International Ice Race, held in the Austrian Alps, Polestar showcased its Arctic Circle collection. This unique lineup consisted of one-of-a-kind show cars, each equipped with specialized ice racing tyres and sporting distinctive white and yellow coats. The centrepiece of the exhibition was an elevated Polestar 5, a four-door Grand Tourer set to become Polestar's most powerful car, due to be available to customers later this year.

The Electric Garage, designed as a Polestar hub, was a highlight of the event. It featured high-tech racing simulators, bespoke racing helmet painting, and a futuristic look and feel. Dan Persson, Polestar's Strategic Creative Director, emphasized that the Electric Garage is not just about showcasing cars, but about creating a movement and crafting thought-provoking, hands-on moments.

A number of notable figures were present at the event. Shana Claessens, a Belgian racing driver, reflected on the similarities between driving a Polestar 4 and her driving experiences. Thed Bjork, a Swedish racing driver and Polestar enthusiast, participated in the event and shared memories of his early racing days with Cyan Racing, the predecessor of Polestar. Sarah Sjöström, a swimming superstar and Polestar Ambassador, also took part, expressing her excitement about the experience.

Dragan Pavlovic, Polestar Architect, led the team that created the venue for the event. The team found the task challenging due to the unique location and inspiring due to the opportunity it presented. No publicly available information identifies the person responsible for creating the Electric Garage for Polestar at the FAT International Ice Race.

Meanwhile, Sergio Marques, a Polestar driver, found a sense of home wherever his Polestar took him, exploring diverse locations such as Jokkmokk, reindeer and Northern Lights territory. Marques's Polestar became his home, allowing him to traverse the world and experience its beauty.

Finally, the Mille Miglia, a race and fashion parade, is scheduled for 2025. Unlike any other race, the Mille Miglia combines speed, fashion, and a unique Italian experience. Polestar is expected to participate, promising to make the event an unforgettable Italian road trip.
