Workers' safety from ionizing radiation risks to be addressed through Commission's proposal for a directive

In the city of Passau, a series of events are scheduled to take place during the coming weeks, aimed at providing information, support, and resources for dementia patients and their caregivers.

The events kick off with the Info Care for Dementia Patients on Monday, September 22, 2025. This event will offer valuable insights into care and support services for those affected by dementia.

On the same day, registration for a regular consultation for severely disabled people will become available from autumn 2025.

The 6th Bavarian Dementia Week will take place from Friday, September 19, 2025, to Sunday, September 28, 2025. During this week, various events will occur in all Bavarian government districts.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Discussion group "Forgetfulness - what is still normal?" will take place, aiming to reduce uncertainties and provide initial orientation.

On the following day, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, "A Scare Without a Ghost", a movie night on the topic of dementia, will take place. No registration is required for this event.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, a Marketplace of household services, low-threshold and voluntary support services, and visiting services will take place.

In addition to these events, further information on support for dementia is offered every first Tuesday of the month as part of the regular dementia consultation hour in the House of Generations.

From autumn 2025, regular support for care-dependent people and their relatives in Passau will be offered by the Arbeiterwohlfahrt, the Bavarian Red Cross, the nursing service "Herz und Verstand," and anima. This support will include additional consultation services such as regular care counseling every second Thursday of the month and a new regular consultation for severely disabled persons at the Haus der Generationen.

The Hospice Association Passau e.V. will explain the creation of powers of attorney using the emergency folder of the city of Passau. The event "Power of Attorney, Patient Directive, and Care" will take place on Wednesday, 08.10.2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the House of Generations, Heiliggeistgasse 3, 94032 Passau.

The topic of "Classification into a care level" and "Dementia and care level" will be explained in detail by the AOK Passau care consultation on Thursday, 16.10.2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House of Generations. Further support services for caring relatives are offered by the German Red Cross, the nursing service "Heart and Mind", and anima. The Specialist and Contact Point for Older People of the City of Passau provides the corresponding contact details.

The use of care money and the possibility of staying in one's own home for as long as possible by using a "mix of services" from various providers will also be topics of the lecture on October 16.
