In a series of events that unfolded over two days, police in Recklinghausen and Datteln have made arrests in connection with break-ins at local arcades.
The initial break-in occurred at an arcade in Datteln on Tuesday. According to police reports, the men involved managed to flee the scene but were caught on CCTV. On Wednesday, the same suspects were spotted in an arcade in Recklinghausen, located on Martinistraße. An attentive employee recognized the men and promptly called the police.
The incident in Recklinghausen occurred around 8:30 PM on Wednesday. The police arrived swiftly and arrested a 49-year-old man from Marl and a 58-year-old man from Essen. The suspects were provisionally detained in the police district of Münster.
