A newspaper from East Thuringia, "Ostthüringer Zeitung," reported that a voter experienced a collapse in the waiting area near the polling station and later passed away. The concerned district electoral officer mentioned that there's only one ballot area at the school in Bad Köstritz where this incident occurred.
