Winning Salto with an outstanding performance

Bremer SV emerges triumphant in the Bremen Cup final game, defeating Hemelingen 3:0 (2:0) before a crowd of 2034 spectators at Vinnenweg, Oberneuland. As a result, the regional league club secures their spot in the DFB Cup and pockets approximately 210,000 euros.

Sebastian Kmiec, the coach, is thrilled as he says, "We knew we'd perform well and in the end, we played with confidence."

Bremen SV's Groger (8th) and Bretgeld (19th) gave them an early lead. In the 86th minute, Nikky Goguadze scored the winning goal. He skilfully evaded three defenders and the goalkeeper, Pfaar, with a brilliant solo run.

A backflip celebration after a super solo goal

Goguadze opens up about his backflip: "I've practised it since I was young. I've been doing it this way for a few years now. It's become my signature celebration."

There's a possibility Goguadze may perform his celebration in the first round of the DFB Cup as well. The draw will be announced during the ARD Sportschau on Saturday. Unfortunately, another local club, Atlas Delmenhorst, won't be participating. They lost the Lower Saxony final against Hildesheim 0:2.
