In an unexpected incident that took place on Tuesday evening at around 6:40 PM, a collision occurred between a driver and a loose dog on the L1002 road from Fretterode towards Gerbershausen. The Northhausen State Police Inspectorate, the relevant authority for this incident, confirmed the news.

Fortunately, the driver emerged unharmed from the incident. However, the dog was injured and received prompt veterinary care. The dog's owner reported the incident to the Northhausen State Police Inspectorate after the accident.

The responding officers found the injured dog on an adjacent field. The direction of travel was from Fretterode towards Gerbershausen. The car involved in the collision sustained property damage as a result of the collision.
