Who'll assist with "Digital Cooperation"?

In the heart of Bamberg, the Digital Advice Counter at Stadt:Raum (Promenadestraße 6a, 96047 Bamberg) continues to be a beacon of support for those seeking help with digital devices. Since its launch in March 2025, over 80 advisory sessions have taken place, indicating its high quality and usefulness.

The Digital Advice Counter is a project under the initiative "zusammen digital", funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. It offers free support for questions about operating digital devices, and no registration is required to visit.

Stefanie Hahn, Senior Citizens' Officer of the City of Bamberg, has stated that volunteers are the heart of the Digital Advice Counter. Volunteers play a crucial role in its operation, and the project is seeking new volunteers due to some current volunteers leaving Bamberg.

No expertise is required to volunteer; a solid knowledge of common applications and functions is sufficient. Volunteers have the opportunity to help shape the further development of the project and contribute to its continued success.
