Westfalia Unveils Next-Gen Automated Storage at LogiMAT 2026

Westfalia Technologies will showcase its latest automated storage solutions at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart. The exhibition, running from March 24 to 26, will highlight the company’s focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Based in Borgholzhausen, Germany, Westfalia specialises in end-to-end intralogistics systems tailored to various industries.

The company designs and manufactures all core components in-house, ensuring seamless integration of storage technology, electromechanics, and software. Its modular systems adapt to different product types and industry needs, offering high flexibility. A key feature is the Satellite® technology, introduced in 1981, which enables multi-deep storage with fast access while saving floor space.

Westfalia’s solutions prioritise energy efficiency through regenerative drives and support on-site power generation via photovoltaic installations. Safety remains central, with robust construction, redundant controls, and minimal interfaces to reduce technical failures. The company also provides retrofit services, allowing gradual upgrades to existing storage units by integrating new components into current infrastructure.

Beyond technology, Westfalia acts as a general contractor, handling planning, execution, and ongoing service. Preventive maintenance and strategic spare parts management extend system lifespans, ensuring long-term reliability. At LogiMAT, the company will demonstrate how these elements combine to deliver secure, highly available, and sustainable intralogistics solutions.

Visitors to LogiMAT 2026 will see Westfalia’s full range of automated storage systems in Hall 3, Stand 3C79. The exhibition will underscore the company’s ability to provide customised, future-proof solutions for diverse industries. With a focus on efficiency, durability, and adaptability, the systems aim to meet evolving demands in modern logistics.
