Rock icon comments on concert's cancellation. - Westernhagen received backstage infusions.
Following the unexpected cancellation of his sold-out concert in Stuttgart mere minutes before the event, fans of Marius Müller-Westernhagen (75) became concerned about the artist's well-being. Now, he has released a statement addressing the incident for the first time.
En route to the venue, the singer ("Sexy") didn't feel well. After a doctor advised against the performance, fans were already seated in the Schleyer-Halle.

Instead of "Johnny Walker" there were vitamin drips

In a message to his fans, Westernhagen shared his experience: "I remained in a hotel in Stuttgart overnight following a series of vitamin infusions backstage. I'm not sure what was administered through my veins. However, after a solid 11 hours of sleep, I feel back to my usual self and am confident that I'll be back on stage in Berlin on Friday. Firstly, I'd like to express my gratitude for the medical care I received."

Offering a glimmer of hope to his devoted fans, Westernhagen revealed intentions to reschedule the Stuttgart date: "I'll do everything in my power to find a new date to perform for you."

And he reassured everyone, "There's no need to worry. These days, receiving constant medical attention while on tour is all part of being a professional artist. Things don't always go smoothly..."
In Berlin, fans can anticipate hearing popular tracks like "Mit Pfefferminz bin ich dein Prinz", "Sexy" - and, of course, "Es geht mir gut".
