Welcoming of Fresh Associates by BDA

New Members Join British Drilling Association

The British Drilling Association (BDA) has experienced significant growth in recent times, with several new members joining its ranks. The latest additions include GB Land Engineering Ltd, Leask Marine Ltd, Lithos Consulting Ltd, MacGeo Ltd, and Story Contracting Ltd.

Martyn Brocklesby, Chair of the BDA, expressed his pleasure at the new members joining the Association. He believes that these new members will help the BDA drive forward standards, innovation, and critical issues such as best practice, health & safety, and mental health and wellbeing.

The BDA aims to drive forward standards, innovation, and critical issues within the drilling industry. With the addition of these new companies, the BDA's membership expands, providing a greater knowledge resource for the industry. A larger membership allows the BDA to better represent the drilling industry within the sector and at a strategic level.

Each of the new members has agreed to undergo the BDA Audit, ensuring that they meet the high standards set by the Association. This audit process is an essential part of the BDA's commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and safety within the industry.

The growth in membership brings the BDA closer to achieving one of its core aims, which is to fully represent the drilling industry. Potential members can contact the BDA via email at [email protected]. More information about the BDA can be found on their website at www.britishdrillingassociation.co.uk.

In the last few months, the API for Drilling Services from Egypt, serving the Middle East and North Africa region, also joined the British Drilling Association as a new member. The addition of these new members helps the BDA to address industry-specific concerns and issues, ensuring that the Association remains at the forefront of the drilling industry.

The more members the BDA has, the greater its knowledge resource. Brocklesby stated that the more members the BDA has, the greater its ability to influence and shape the future of the drilling industry. The BDA continues to expand its membership to better represent the drilling industry and tackle the challenges it faces head-on.
