The Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2025, now in its seventh year, is set to take place on 21st November in Mumbai. This prestigious event offers a stage to showcase innovation, impact, and scalability to the global FinTech community.

This year, the awards honour innovation across categories such as Core Banking, Digital Lending, AI/ML, and GenAI. HCLTech, a leading global technology company, has partnered with Thought Machine, a pioneer in cloud-native banking technology, to modernise banks worldwide, moving them beyond legacy infrastructure.

HCLTech will deliver full-stack transformation services through Vault-certified delivery teams and global FinTech Centers of Excellence (CoEs). A dedicated global CoE for Vault Core and Vault Payments will be established to help banks build modular, real-time, and scalable platforms.

The partnership aims to equip banks with the agility to accelerate innovation, reduce operational friction, and shorten time-to-market for new products and services. Vault's flexible, cloud-native architecture allows banks to automate critical processes and increase operational efficiency.

Meanwhile, Transbnk, a fintech startup, has secured $25m in Series B funding to fuel global expansion. The company aims to reimagine digital onboarding, making it easier and more efficient for banks and their customers.

Another startup, CredRight, has raised $10m in Series B funding to scale credit access for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The startup is modernizing at scale, aiming to make credit more accessible and affordable for businesses.

The judging process for the Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2025 will be data-driven, powered by IBS Intelligence's proprietary research and analytics. The awards are open to both startups reimagining digital onboarding and established banks modernizing at scale.

Winners of the awards will receive year-long visibility through editorial features, thought leadership opportunities, and industry event integrations. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 2025, and nominations have already been submitted by the IBSi organization or event committee responsible for the awards.

The Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2025 is not just a platform for recognition, but also for continued growth and influence. With broader global participation and richer insights into bank-tech collaboration expected this year, the event promises to be a significant milestone in the FinTech industry.
