In the world of technology, there's always something new on the horizon. Here's a roundup of the latest developments from some of the biggest names in the industry.

Google Pixel 9a

Google's latest smartphone, the Pixel 9a, introduces a battery-saving feature that slows down the aging process by reducing charging speed and voltage. Activated after 200 charge cycles, this feature aims to make the battery last longer. However, some users have reported issues with Android Auto's responsiveness in conjunction with the Pixel 10's arrival.

Another noteworthy feature of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro/XL is the "Battery Health Assistance," which is locked and cannot be disabled.

Samsung's Upcoming Releases

Samsung is gearing up for a series of launches. On September 29, 2023, the company is expected to unveil its long-awaited project, Moohan, a new VR headset, in South Korea. The Galaxy S25 FE is also on the cards, with leaked images showing a thinner and lighter design compared to its predecessor.

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to boast a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, weigh approximately 190 grams, and feature a triple camera array. The event will also showcase the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, with rumours swirling about a Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11, including an alleged Ultra version.

Samsung is hosting a Virtual Unpacked event on Sept 4 at 5 p.m. ET to launch these new devices. Interested individuals can watch the event on the Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, or the company's YouTube channel.

In a bit of controversy, Nothing has been caught using stock images in marketing for the Phone 3, claiming they were shots taken on the Phone 3, but they were actually licensed photos. There's also speculation that the Snapdragon 8 Elite name might change, potentially causing confusion.

Finally, Google is set to upgrade its Nest Cameras with 2K HDR and Gemini features. Samsung's XR Headset, priced around 4 million won, approximately $1,799 to $2,999, is more expensive than the Meta Quest 3 and slightly cheaper than the Apple Vision Pro.
