Get ready for an exciting cultural extravaganza in Latvia this July, as the country hosts three unique events: the Valmiermuiža ethnomusic festival, the third Latvian Hip-Hop Festival "Straume/Stream", and the annual LAMPA conversation festival.

First off, the Valmiermuiža ethnomusic festival, taking place on July 6 in Valmiermuiža Park, promises a diverse lineup of Latvian musicians. Among them are folk rock group "Laimas muzykanti", acoustic ravers "Nielslens Lielsliens", meditative performer Harijs Vagrants, and "Iļģi". This year, ethno-musicians from Portugal, Mongolia, Estonia, and Lithuania will also join the celebration. The festival will unfold across two stages.

Moving on to the third Latvian Hip-Hop Festival "Straume/Stream", happening on July 5 and 6 in Līgatne, will honour the work of Latvian hip-hop and rap representatives. Artists such as Prusax, TJZ, Bush, Finķis, and many others will take the stage. The festival will conclude with a performance of the newly created project "M.O.O.N.$.S.W.A.G.G.", featuring rappers like Ozols, Skutelis, ods, goča, and Wiesulis.

Lastly, the annual LAMPA conversation festival will take place in Cēsis from July 5 to 6. This event brings together discussions on a wide range of topics, including security, ecology, literature, politics, life, and death. Livestreams in English will be available for those who can't attend in person.

For those interested, the full program for both the "Straume" festival and the Valmiermuiža ethnomusic festival can be found on their respective websites. Similarly, the program for LAMPA can be found on LAMPA's website. The "Straume" festival is held in the "Zeit" creative quarter, much like the LAMPA festival, which also takes place in this vibrant area.

Whether you're a music lover, a culture enthusiast, or someone seeking insightful discussions, Latvia has something for everyone this July. So, mark your calendars and get ready for a weekend filled with music, conversations, and culture!
