This weekend, parts of Lower Saxony might witness heavy rainfall or even thunderstorms, states the weather forecast released by the German Weather Service (DWD). For Saturday, the northern part of the state is expected to be hit by heavy showers. The temperature will range from 21 to 24 degrees Celsius, dropping to 19 degrees near the North Sea. On Sunday, the day will start off with fog, and then turn friendly and dry. However, showers and thunderstorms are projected to occur from the east by the end of the day, as per the DWD. Sunday's temperature in the lower Saxony region will be between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, while around the islands, it will remain at about 19 degrees.
