In the city of Münster, over the weekend of 15th to 17th August, the local police force reported three separate incidents involving individuals operating a small motorbike and an e-scooter under the influence of alcohol.

The first incident occurred on Friday night (15.08., 23:44) when a 31-year-old woman was stopped by Münster Police for riding an e-scooter through a red bike light. No further details about the individual or their current condition are available.

On Saturday night (17.08., 00:26), a 43-year-old woman crashed an e-scooter on Ostmarkstraße in Mauritz. Upon stopping the woman, Münster Police detected a strong smell of alcohol, coordination issues, and slurred speech. The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The second incident took place on Sunday afternoon (17.08., 14:05) on Henriette-Son-Straße in Sentrup. A 58-year-old man was stopped for operating a small motorbike with an improperly attached license plate and an expired TÜV stamp. Officers detected a strong smell of alcohol and glassy eyes during the conversation with the man.

No further details about the third incident were provided.

Blood samples were taken from all three vehicle operators over the weekend, but the results are yet to be disclosed.
