Warehouse blaze reported
A fire broke out at a warehouse located in Philipp-Reis-Straße, Heusenstamm, early Wednesday morning. The incident was attended by both firefighters and police.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Police Headquarters Southeast Hesse. As of now, the identity of the person who committed the arson remains unknown. Initial findings suggest that loud bangs preceded the fire.
The firefighters had to force open a door to access the commercial property. They successfully extinguished two burning car batteries and a refrigerator. Fortunately, no one was injured during the fire, but it resulted in several thousand euros of property damage.
