Wanted Person Alert: Federal authorities have carried out an arrest warrant for a 60-year-old individual, as per the instruction of BPOLI MD.
In August 2025, a 60-year-old German man was arrested by the Federal Police at Magdeburg Central Station. The arrest came six months after a conviction by the Magdeburg Regional Court, where the man was sentenced to a fine of 3600 euros or 120 days in prison for using symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organisations in two cases.
The man was unable to pay the total amount of 3600 euros to avoid imprisonment, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Magdeburg Public Prosecutor's Office. Despite this, it appears that the man had evaded arrest until his apprehension by the Federal Police.
Upon his arrest, the officers took the man to the Federal Police Station at Magdeburg Central Station. After completing necessary procedures, he was then taken to a detention facility to serve the remaining 60 days of his sentence.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg can be contacted for further inquiries. Their contact details are as follows:

The conviction and subsequent arrest warrant were the result of the man's use of symbols associated with unconstitutional and terrorist organisations. The officers informed the issuing authority about the execution of the arrest warrant.
