Fatal Altercation at Augustaplatz in Offenburg

A tragic incident occurred on Friday evening around 6 pm at Augustaplatz in Offenburg, resulting in a fatal altercation between three men who were known to each other.

According to the available reports, one of the men physically attacked a 40-year-old during the argument, causing him to fall to the ground. A 21-year-old from the group then pulled out a knife and attacked the 40-year-old while he was on the ground. The victim got up and fled after the attack.

The 21-year-old attacker was provisionally arrested by Baden-Baden police officers at the scene. Emergency services attended to the man's injuries and took him to a hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
