The Theater Group of the Catholic Women's Community (KFD) in Neuenkirchen is gearing up for an exciting weekend of performances at the Kolpinghaus. The event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm and 7 pm, promises an entertaining mix of drama and suspense.

On Saturday, the group will present "The Lodger," a play performed in High German. The story revolves around Matilda, a character who takes in a new lodger named Herr Haberbeck. As Matilda starts to doubt Herr Haberbeck's intentions due to the borrowed money, intrigue unfolds. Interestingly, Herr Haberbeck is a successful author and is known to be attractive and single.

The second play, titled "Chickens and Other Lies," will be performed on October 11th and 12th. This production is shrouded in mystery, with chaos ensuing on the night of the rabbit breeders' meeting. In this play, Policeman Gerd has a special request for Gesa and Rieke, and Landlady Schütt hires a burglar to plant stolen goods in their home. The singer Chantalle will also be staying with Gesa and Rieke during the play.

Advance ticket sales for both performances have already begun. Tickets can be reserved by phone with Regina Ellefredt-Thol. For those who prefer to buy their tickets in person, they can be purchased at the Rosenapotheke and the bakery Niermann on Lange Straße in Neuenkirchen. The cost of tickets for the second play is ten euros.

Rehearsals for the performances are currently underway, with the cast and crew working diligently to bring these captivating stories to life. If you're a fan of drama, suspense, and a touch of mystery, these performances are not to be missed. So, mark your calendars, and join the KFD Theater Group for an unforgettable weekend of theatre.
