The Maison&Objet international furniture and craft exhibitions, held in France, celebrated its 30th anniversary this year with a grand event at the Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris. Over 3,000 exhibitors and 80,000 trade visitors from 155 countries gathered for the occasion. Among these, the Vietnam Pavilion stood out as a testament to the growing collaboration between Vietnamese and European firms.

Established in 1995, Maison&Objet is Europe's leading contemporary lifestyle exhibition. This year's edition, running until Monday, showcases the best of global business connections, including those with Vietnam. The Vietnam Pavilion, inaugurated by the Vietcraft Handicraft Exporters Association, Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, and other organisations, reflects Vietnam's cultural identity and potential as a trusted and capable trading partner.

The Vietnam Pavilion features a modern design and highlights the themes "Vietnam Lifestyle" and "Ho Chi Minh Pavilion." It attracts considerable attention from visitors, who are drawn to its diverse display of interior, exterior, and handicraft products. Over 30 Vietnamese enterprises, including Tân Thành Furniture and HAWA, showcase their products across a 350 sqm display area.

Phạ́m Chân Quang, CEO of Tân Thành Furniture and Vice President of HAWA, considers the event an invaluable opportunity to showcase high-quality wood products to the French market. The participation aims to enhance the profile of Vietnamese businesses in France and present Vietnam's dynamic, globally integrated economy to international audiences.

Ambassador Đinh Toàn Thắng expressed delight at the strong and impressive presence of Vietnamese firms at the fair. He described the Vietnam Pavilion as a special gift marking Vietnam's 80th National Day. Guillaume Prot, director of Maison&Objet, highlighted the long-standing collaborations between Vietnamese and European firms and growing interest from Asian countries, particularly Southeast Asia, in the European market.

The CCIFV, playing a role as a bridge for business cooperation, helps French firms operate in Vietnam while supporting Vietnamese companies in accessing opportunities in France and Europe. Adam Koulaksezian, executive director of the CCIFV, emphasised Maison&Objet as a world-class exhibition and a benchmark in the home décor and furniture industry.

The Maison&Objet 2025 fair is not just a platform for business connections. It also aims to promote a broader range of Vietnamese products, including textiles and agricultural products, in the future. This year's participation is considered an important opportunity to highlight the comprehensive Vietnam-France partnership and strengthen economic ties between the two nations.
