Vienna's Seitenblicke Gala Raises €335,000 for Social Causes in Glittering Charity Night
The 27th Seitenblicke Gala in Vienna raised over €335,000 for social causes. The event took place at the Interspot Film studios in Vienna-Liesing, drawing prominent figures from culture, business, and media. The gala was hosted by Inge Klingohr, founder of Interspot Film, with Kristina Sprenger guiding the evening's programme. Musical highlights included a performance by renowned tenor Piotr Beczała. A tambourine auction alone added €7,000 to the fundraising total. The charity auction, led by Karl Hohenlohe and Rudi Roubinek, saw fierce bidding. The highest offer—€30,000—secured an advertisement page in the Kurier newspaper. Celebrity ticket sellers, including Zoryana Kushpler, Lidia Baich, and Aaron Karl, also lent their support to the raffle. Attendees included well-known names such as actor Cornelius Obonya, entrepreneur Gaston Glock, and media personality Daniel Serafin. All proceeds will fund three key projects: Cape 10 – Haus der guten Hoffnung, Wienerwald Village Community, and Licht ins Dunkel's Emergency Relief Fund. The funds will directly benefit social initiatives across Vienna. Licht ins Dunkel, a long-standing Austrian charity, will distribute resources to those in need. The gala's success ensures continued support for vulnerable communities in the region.
