Victoria Beckham's forthcoming Netflix documentary includes Brooklyn Beckham, in spite of the persisting family discord
David Beckham, the iconic footballer turned fashion mogul, is known for more than just his impressive career and stylish wardrobe. His body is a canvas for an array of tattoos, each holding a special meaning.
One of his most notable tattoos is the gothic style cross and wings on his neck, symbolising his religion and acting as a protective guardian for his son Romeo. Another significant piece is the angel wings at the top of his back, serving as a sign of protection for his sons. The most famous of his body art is the name of his wife Victoria, inscribed along the inside of his forearm, in Sanskrit.
David's tattoos don't just honour his family. He also has the year of their marriage inked on his little finger, the word "Love" across the top of his left hand, and a swallow on either side. The names of his eldest son Brooklyn and his youngest son Cruz are inked across his back. A small female-stick figure designed by his daughter Harper adorns his body, and a ship at full mast, identical to the same one his father has, is also present.
Meanwhile, David's eldest son Brooklyn is making waves in the fashion industry. He will appear in Victoria Beckham's upcoming Netflix documentary, and will feature in a scene where he helps clear the catwalk after it poured with rain during a fashion show. Brooklyn also jetted to Paris for Fashion Week in September 2024.
The documentary, set to provide exclusive access to Victoria's life, her family, and those closest to her, will follow her as she navigates her life, running her fashion and beauty empire in the global spotlight. All of the Beckham children, including Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, will appear in the forthcoming documentary series.
However, not all is smooth sailing for the family. During a time when Brooklyn and his fiancรฉe Nicola Peltz were on separate yachts in St Tropez, they made subtle digs at the Beckham family while having their own family dinner. The design of Nicola's wedding dress for her marriage to Brooklyn was done by a designer other than Victoria's label, sparking family conflict.
Despite having no contact with his mum since May, Brooklyn will still appear in the documentary. Production of the series started last month.
With its mix of family dynamics, fashion, and personal stories, the upcoming Victoria Beckham documentary is sure to be a must-watch for fans of the Beckham family and the fashion world alike.
