Vibrant Night at Rockzone with Five Bands Packing a Powerful Performance
On Friday, 12th September 2025, the Lünen Fair will play host to ROCKZONE, an exciting event presented by Lünen's Cultural Office. This free event, located at the Rock Zone Stage at the Lünen Fair near Tobias Park, promises a diverse live experience for rock fans and music lovers of all ages.
The evening kicks off at 5 PM with Broken Cymbals, a thrash-punk band from Werne. Formed in 2021, they will perform tracks from their new album "Bad Dream" live.
At 6 PM, Demente Tendenzen from Selm take the stage. Known for their unique spin on rock classics from the 80s and 90s, they mix respect for the originals with a personal, contemporary touch.
The Gasoliners from Lünen's Ruhrpott area perform at 8 PM. With a mix of rock'n'roll, punk, and alternative, their music is loud, direct, and infectious. They have been touring clubs and festivals since 2004.
The Silverettes, a power trio known for their powerful vocals, intricate arrangements, and charismatic stage presence, will bring the spirit of the 50s to life in a contemporary, energetic way. They blend Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll, and Pop in a modern package, and will close the night at 9:30 PM.
The genres of the bands range from Punk and Alternative to Crossover and modern Rockabilly. The event is part of the Lünen Fair and is titled ROCKZONE, presented by Lünen's Cultural Office and the Stadtwerke Lünen.
