Vehicle Advances in France Before Crowd at Bar; Fatality Occurs
In the early hours of this morning, a tragic incident unfolded in the French city of Évreux. According to details provided by the prosecutor, Rémi Coutin, a car was driven into a crowd outside a wine bar, resulting in a fatal outcome and multiple injuries.
The incident was initially reported by the newspaper "Le Parisien", citing information from the prefecture. The crowd outside the bar, estimated to be around 100 people, was primarily made up of intoxicated individuals.
The driver of the car, along with two other occupants, and another person were arrested immediately following the incident. However, the identity of the driver has not been disclosed in the available sources.
The car was reportedly driven backwards at high speed multiple times into the crowd, leading to the death of one man and the injury of five others. The bar's owner cleared the establishment after a dispute inside the bar, which is believed to have sparked the incident.
