In the vibrant city of Düsseldorf, a unique theatrical event is set to take place on August 23 and 24. The academixer ensemble's program, "Alles Wurschd", will captivate audiences at the Kom(m)ödchen theatre.
The Kom(m)ödchen theatre, with its own ensemble, is housed in a building that dates back to the 1920s. Originally, the structure served as a reception hall, boasting facilities such as a hairdresser, bathtub, post office, and bar. Over the years, it has been transformed into a small theater.
The current program of Kom(m)ödchen, "Alles Wurschd", premiered in Leipzig two years ago and has since received acclaim for its sparkling comedy and versatile ensemble. The action of the play takes place in a modern butchery named Fleischboutique Meating Point, which is not run by the ensemble, but a character named Solli Janka, a woman who owns the butchery, is explored in the program.
The ensemble consists of four actors and one musician, with standout performances from Carolin Fischer as a naive and internet-addicted dummy, Elisabeth Hart for her playful and physically strong portrayal, and Ralf Baewolff, who showcases his comedic class. Jens Eulenberger's transformations between Indian, detective, customer, and businessman are also noteworthy.
Interestingly, a member of the German Bundestag, Günther Korf, dines at Fleischboutique Meating Point every day, but he is not a character in the academixer ensemble's program. However, there is a suspicion that Korf may have been the inspiration for the character Rashid, the Indian butcher who speaks better German than a whole PEGIDA march, as he is a character explored in the program.
Intriguingly, there are rumours surrounding Korf's disappearance, with some speculating that he may have been processed into a beer sausage in the butchery. However, no specific publicly available information indicates who might have an interest in Korf's disappearance or any suspected circumstances related to him. Solli's grandfather, who learned the art of slaughtering from Stalin, could potentially have an interest in Korf being processed.
The direction of "Alles Wurschd" is by Hans Holzbecher, who is also responsible for the ensemble pieces at Kom(m)ödchen in Düsseldorf. This promises a seamless blend of comedy and mystery, making it a must-see event for theatre-goers. Don't miss out on this unique theatrical experience in Düsseldorf!
