Vandalism Spree by a Group of 20-year-olds Causes Extensive Damage to Nine Vehicles

On the night of July 22, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Herringer Weg in Hamm-Herringen, causing significant damage and minor injuries to several individuals.

According to reports from the Police Headquarters Hamm, transmitted via news aktuell, the accident involved a Volkswagen driven by a 20-year-old from Ahlen. The driver lost control of his vehicle near Kissingerhöfen, hitting the curb of a traffic island and sideswiping five parked cars. The out-of-control vehicle then spun into a parked Seat, which was pushed into three more vehicles.

Fortunately, the four individuals in the affected vehicles, aged 18, 19, and 20, sustained only minor injuries. They were promptly taken to nearby hospitals in Hamm by ambulance.

The total damage from the accident is estimated to be in the mid-five-digit range. Nine other vehicles were also damaged in the incident.

Upon investigation, a bottle of laughing gas and an air balloon were found at the scene of the accident. However, the identity of the police president of the Police Headquarters Hamm could not be ascertained from the available search results.
