Utenos Trikotazas Returns to Profitability Early and Continues Growth

Utenos Trikotazas, one of the largest and sustainable knitwear manufacturers in Central and Eastern Europe, has made a significant comeback. The company, which operates two textile factories in Lithuania and Ukraine, has returned to profitability one quarter earlier than planned in the second quarter of 2025.

This turnaround was marked by an EBITDA of €418,000 and a 78% decrease in group losses. The company's impressive growth continued in the first half of 2025, with sales increasing by 30.9% and contract manufacturing production growing by 45.2%.

Tadas Bauzys, a seasoned professional with experience in investment project management and international corporate financial control, has been appointed as the new Financial Director of Utenos Trikotazas. He assumed the role in July 2025, replacing Aurimas Likas, who will remain with the SBA Group in the role of business control director.

Utenos Trikotazas specializes in on-demand ready-to-wear production and jersey fabric development for leading international brands. The company's primary business focuses on innovative medium-value added production and high-quality manufacturing.

In addition to his role at Utenos Trikotazas, Tadas Bauzys is also a member of the Board of Directors of SBA Group. This dual role will allow for a seamless integration of financial strategies across both companies.
