Leaders of China, North Korea, and Russia Gather for Military Parade Marking 80 Years Since World War II

In a significant gathering, the leaders of China, North Korea, and Russia were present in Beijing for a military parade on September 29, 2021. The parade was held to commemorate 80 years since World War II ended.

The event was attended by President Xi Jinping of China, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The military parade did not involve any military action or threats against the United States.

While the parade was taking place, former U.S. President Donald Trump posted a message on Truth Social, accusing the leaders of conspiring against the United States. Trump's message implied that Xi Jinping, Putin, and Kim Jong Un were conspiring against the United States. However, it is important to note that Trump's message was not an official statement from the United States government.

In his post, Trump addressed a specific message to President Xi Jinping, including warm regards for Putin and Kim Jong Un. Trump's message on Truth Social was posted late Tuesday.

The closer alignment of Russia, North Korea, and China amid the Ukraine war has been viewed as requiring a new approach toward North Korea by the U.S. government. At the time of China’s military parade, the U.S. maintained concern over this alliance and pursued diplomacy and strategic positioning accordingly.

The U.S. government has focused on diplomatic engagement, including potential peace talks, as seen in Trump's earlier efforts to meet Kim Jong-un for a peace agreement between North and South Korea. The U.S. continues to seek a peaceful resolution to conflicts and maintain international stability.
