US Missiles Allegedly Fired by Ukraine Towards Russia ++ Land Tax Reform Pushed Forward by Rhineland-Palatinate Government

In a series of recent events, several noteworthy developments have unfolded across Europe and Russia.

In the border region of Bryansk, Ukraine, the Ukrainian military is reported to have launched an attack on Russia. One missile debris from this attack fell on a military facility in Russia, causing a fire. However, the specific type of missile that was used remains unidentified.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims to have shot down five out of six missiles launched, and there were no reported casualties from the incident. The Russian government has also backtracked on the property tax reform, following the controversy surrounding the initial proposal.

The government of Rhineland-Palatinate plans to allow municipalities to calculate property tax for both residential and commercial properties differently, in line with the new federal property tax model ("Bundesmodell") starting January 1, 2025.

Meanwhile, in the Kursk region, there have been reports of Ukraine occupying the area since the summer. No details have been provided about the type of weapons used by the Ukrainian military in this region.

On a separate note, the U.S. President has recently authorized the use of weapons against targets in Russia, based on intelligence reports. The specific type of U.S. missiles to be used in these authorized attacks has not been identified. It's also worth noting that Russia, along with North Korea, is reportedly planning an offensive in the border region of Kursk, involving around 50,000 soldiers.

However, the Ukrainian military has not confirmed the use of American ATACMS missiles. The U.S. President's decision comes amidst ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, which have been escalating in recent months.

As these events unfold, the CDU and the Free Voters have made a request in Rhineland-Palatinate regarding the property tax reform. A corresponding amendment to the law is in the works, aiming to address the concerns raised by these parties.

Stay tuned for more updates as these situations continue to evolve.
