Urban Oil Crisis in City Center Demands Immediate Attention (Allensbach G1)

On November 26, 2024, at 08:27 AM, an oil spill was reported on the B33 at the Ost exit to the Schmieder Clinic in Allensbach. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, where they found the oil spill had already spread widely due to the wet road and passing vehicles. The spill was approximately two kilometers long.

Upon arrival, the Allensbach Fire Department was called with a full alarm to assist with the cleanup. They treated the hazardous curve areas and the municipal road with an oil-binding agent to prevent further spread and contamination.

A sweeper machine was requested and used to clean the "Im Tafelholz" street, a part of the affected road. After the street was cleaned, the scene was handed over to the road maintenance department, who took over the cleanup operation.

The road maintenance department, in addition to their usual duties, was also requested to assist with the oil spill. They worked alongside the Allensbach Fire Department to ensure a swift and effective cleanup.

The oil spill cleanup operation was completed after approximately 90 minutes, with the Allensbach Fire Department completing their part of the operation. The road maintenance department continued their work to ensure the road was safe for traffic.

Despite extensive search efforts, information regarding the leader of the Allensbach Fire Department responsible for the oil accident on the B33 could not be found in the available results. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the quick response of emergency services in such situations.
