Upgraded Powerbeats Pro Sports Earbuds by Beats, now featuring Heart Rate Tracking Technology

New Release: Powerbeats Pro 2 Brings Innovative Features to the Table

Apple's latest addition to its audio lineup, the Powerbeats Pro 2, has just hit the market, offering a host of exciting features for music enthusiasts and fitness aficionados alike.

First introduced in 2019, the original Powerbeats Pro, a true-wireless in-ear monitor by Beats, paved the way for the latest iteration. Beats Electronics, the brand behind the Powerbeats series, developed the Powerbeats Pro 2 with integrated heart rate measurement. This second-generation version of the Powerbeats Pro promises to elevate your listening experience with its impressive array of features.

One of the standout additions to the Powerbeats Pro 2 is the inclusion of heart rate monitoring, a feature not found in Apple's AirPods line. The heart rate monitoring is achieved through LED optical sensors, providing accurate and reliable readings. For iPhone users, the optical sensors automatically start and stop when the buds are put on and taken off, making it even more convenient.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 also caters to Android users, although manual activation of the optical sensors is required.

In terms of design, the Powerbeats Pro 2 is 20% lighter than its predecessor, ensuring comfort during extended use. The case for the Powerbeats Pro 2 is 33% smaller, making it more portable. The earbuds come in four colorways: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange, offering a range of stylish options.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 is resistant to water splashes (IPX4), making it a suitable companion for your workout sessions. The case provides an additional 36 hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and 45 hours without ANC.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 offers both active noise cancellation and transparency modes, allowing you to customise your listening experience based on your environment. The battery life stands at 8 hours with ANC and 10 hours without ANC.

For iPhone users, if you're also wearing an Apple Watch, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will prioritise the data from the Apple Watch. The heart rate data from the Powerbeats Pro 2 will get analysed and delivered to workout apps, including Apple Health, Peloton, and Nike Run Club.

Lastly, the Powerbeats Pro 2 supports Qi wireless charging, adding to its list of modern conveniences.

First debuting in 2008 as a game-changer in the wireless headphone industry, Beats has since expanded its lineup to include true-wireless earbuds like the Powerbeats Pro 2. With its innovative features and sleek design, the Powerbeats Pro 2 is set to make a significant impact in the world of audio.
