Updated 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z boasts improved hardware
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Gets a 2025 Update with Enhanced Performance and Safety
The Indian motorcycle manufacturer, Bajaj Auto, has announced an update for its popular naked sport bike, the Pulsar NS400Z, for the year 2025. The new model retains its original design and colour options, but comes with some significant improvements under the hood.
The KTM-derived 373 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill is now OBD-2B compliant, ensuring better emissions and fuel efficiency. The updated engine is expected to continue to produce 39.45 bhp and 35 Nm of torque.
One of the most notable changes is the upgrade in the braking hardware. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z now features sintered brake pads at the front, promising improved stopping power and durability.
The tyres have also been replaced, with the MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres swapped out for Apollo Alpha H1 radial tyres. These new tyres are a size larger at both ends, offering improved grip and stability.
Despite the updates, the price of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z remains competitive in the sub-500 cc segment. The new asking price for the updated model is ₹1,92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it one of the most affordable options in its class.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z continues to offer a lot of value for ₹1.92 lakh. With its four colour options - Brooklyn Black, Glossy Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White, and Pewter Gray - riders have a variety of choices to suit their style.
The company has made it clear that the design of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z remains unchanged, with the focus being on performance and safety improvements. The feature list of the bike also remains unaltered.
In terms of competition, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z competes with the Yamaha R15 and Hero Xtreme 250R in terms of pricing. With its updated engine and braking system, the NS400Z is well-positioned to offer a compelling package for those seeking a sporty, affordable ride.
Overall, the 2025 update for the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z brings welcome improvements to the bike's performance and safety, while maintaining its competitive pricing and appealing design.
