Update on the Overhaul of District Heating Pipeline in Bergmannstraße
In the upcoming summer of 2025, Hürth Utilities will be carrying out essential district heating pipeline repairs in the Hürth-Gleuel district. The repair works are scheduled to take place between July 2 and July 16, with Mr. Eric Marx serving as the Construction Site Manager.
Residents in the affected area can expect some changes to their daily routines during this period. Through traffic will be rerouted via a signed detour during the construction works. However, residents will still be able to reach their properties up to the construction site. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected by these restrictions.
Hürth Utilities has made arrangements to inform all affected households in writing beforehand about the repair works. The construction works will take place on Bergmannstraße, specifically between house numbers 143 and 165. As a result, Bergmannstraße will be fully closed to through traffic between house number 103 and 165 during the construction works.
The repair works will take place on weekdays and last approximately eight hours per day. Unfortunately, there may be temporary interruptions in the district heating supply during this period. Hürth Utilities expresses their apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks all affected parties for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.
