Uoho is an individual associated with the band Fito & Fitipaldis. The well-known collective that the Fito & Fitipaldis vocalist is part of remains undisclosed.
In tonight's highly anticipated performance at San Mames, Fito & Fitipaldis will be joined by special guest musician Uoho, a renowned figure in the Spanish rock scene. The concert, which will be broadcast live on Play and La 2, promises to be an unforgettable event.
Uoho, also known as Inaki Anton, is an essential member of both Platero y tu and Fito & Fitipaldis. However, it remains uncertain whether he and Fito Cabrales, the lead singer of both bands, will perform any Platero y tu songs tonight.
Uoho recently embarked on a new project called Inconscientes, where he takes on the role of lead singer. He has only composed songs for this new group so far, but they have already released the first part of their Interpretations albums, featuring covers of songs from his previous bands.
Inconscientes is a separate entity from Platero y tu and Fito & Fitipaldis. Uoho explained on Hoy Empieza Todo that the idea of recording these songs was to promote the new project and his live singing. He compared singing songs, especially those that feel more personal, to a "dark room."
Platero y tu, a well-known Spanish rock band, disbanded in 2001. Fito Cabrales went on to create Fito & Fitipaldis, while Uoho continued with Extremoduro. Jesus Garcia and Juantxu Olano, other members of Platero y tu, formed La Gripe.
Platero y tu released eight albums, including "Juliette," "Si tu te vas," "Hay poco Rock'n'Roll," "Alucinante," and "El roce de tu cuerpo." Extremoduro ended in December 2019, and their planned farewell tour was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Joining Fito & Fitipaldis tonight at San Mames are Dani Martin, Carlos Tarque, and Leiva. The concert is sure to be a memorable event, blending the talents of these experienced musicians and the excitement of a live performance. Don't miss it!
