Pinarello Unveils the 2023 F-Series: A Race-Ready Machine for Every Cyclist

Today, Pinarello is thrilling cycling enthusiasts with the launch of its new F-Series. This range, designed with a focus on delivering a true race machine experience, offers an impressive lineup of models catering to various budgets and preferences.

At the heart of the F-Series lies a meticulous blend of carbon fiber layups, ensuring a ride quality that adjusts from a more forgiving experience at the lower end of the price spectrum, to a stiffer, snappier feel at the top. The F5, for instance, employs T700 carbon, while the F9 boasts T900 carbon for an even more responsive ride.

The F-Series' new tyres, supplied by Pirelli, are a testament to Pinarello's commitment to quality. Although details on these tyres are scarce, we know they were produced by nearby Vittoria for the initial launch.

One of the most significant updates comes in the form of a new E-TICR headset, a new fork with a slightly longer rake, a stiffer rear triangle, and the 'Aero Keel' bottom bracket design. These improvements contribute to the F-Series' best-in-class weight to performance ratio, making it a formidable choice for cyclists seeking the right market price.

The F-Series lineup includes the entry-level F1, the F3, F5, F7, and the top-tier F9. The F1, equipped with a mechanical Shimano 105 groupset, retains the same frame as the outgoing F-Series, offering a familiar feel to cyclists.

The F3, on the other hand, steps down to DT Swiss P 1800 Spline wheels and uses T700 carbon, while the F5 comes with Shimano 105 Di2, a two-piece bar and stem, and Most Ultra Fast 45 wheels, priced at €5,500.

The F7 model offers a choice between SRAM Force AXS or Shimano Ultegra Di2, both versions come with Most Ultra Fast 45 wheels, the Talon Fast cockpit, and are priced at €7,900. The top-tier F9 model, equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Most Ultra Fast 45 wheels, and the Most Talon Fast cockpit, boasts a claimed weight of 7.4kg and a price of €11,000.

The F3 model is available in two color options, while the F5 model comes in Etna Black Matt. The F7 model is available in four colors, and the top-tier F9 model is available in the Formula Green Matt color.

However, Pinarello's custom 'MyWay' paint program is not available for any F-Series model.

The updates to the F-Series are evolutionary rather than revolutionary, and they primarily trickle down from last year's Dogma F launch. This ensures that the F-Series maintains its intended customer focus, resulting in altered geometry compared to the flagship Dogma F.

In conclusion, the 2023 Pinarello F-Series offers an impressive range of models, each designed to deliver a race-ready experience tailored to various budgets and preferences. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a weekend warrior, there's an F-Series model waiting to elevate your cycling experience.
