LeddarTech Showcases LeddarVision Surround-View at CES 2025

LeddarTech, a global software company headquartered in Quebec City, Canada, is set to showcase its latest innovation, LeddarVision Surround-View (LVS-2), at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas. The event will take place from January 7 to 10 at booth 6752 in the LVCC West Hall.

LeddarVision Surround-View is a comprehensive surround-view ADAS L2/L2+ highway/city software stack designed to enhance automotive safety. The system provides enhanced vehicle detection, an early-warning system, and extended coverage, aiming to improve the reliability, accuracy, and detection of vehicles and vulnerable road users (VRUs) in complex driving situations.

The operational design domain (ODD) of LeddarVision Surround-View supports speeds of up to 160 km/h, a 200 m range, and reliable performance on urban and rural roads in varied weather and road conditions. The hardware platform includes a front camera, surround cameras, radars, and a System-on-Chip (SOC) - the TDA4VH-Q1 processor from Texas Instruments, which boasts 32 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second).

Texas Instruments will demonstrate LeddarVision Surround-View using the TDA4VH-Q1 processor, highlighting its sensor fusion capabilities and edge AI performance. Arm technology powers LeddarVision Surround on AWS G5g, enhancing the system's flexibility and scalability while complying with SOAFEE standards for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers.

Visitors to the booth can expect interactive demonstrations, including a 360° Virtual Reality Experience and Live On-Road Demonstrations, to showcase the real-world impact of LeddarVision Surround-View. For those interested in experiencing LeddarVision in action on real streets, bookable rides are available to showcase its ability to manage complex driving environments.

LeddarTech is responsible for several remote-sensing innovations, with over 170 patent applications (87 granted) that enhance Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Autonomous Driving (AD), and parking capabilities. The company is collaborating with Texas Instruments and Arm to bring added value to its groundbreaking technology.
