Mark your calendars for the 26th "Tage des offenen Weingutes" in Saxony, taking place from the 30th to the 31st of August 2025. This annual event promises a captivating journey from the grapevine to the wine glass, showcasing the region's rich wine-growing history and the people who contribute with heart and expertise to its production.

Over 50 Saxon wine estates and wineries will participate, including some newcomers such as the Besen Shacks Haselbusch and Flack's Beverage Gourmet. Alongside large estates, many smaller wineries and farm wineries will also be present, offering a diverse range of wines and experiences.

The event promises innovative formats, with concerts, "Loosecco Night", "Goat Wine", and live demonstrations of the cooper's craft. Visitors can expect wine tastings, vineyard and cellar tours, culinary extras, live music, and art exhibitions. Direct exchange with the winemakers is emphasized, who provide insights into wine production, their philosophy, and the challenges of viticulture.

For those looking to explore the vineyards, a special shuttle service provided by the Meißen Transportation Company ensures relaxed mobility. Two special lines, bus line 850 and bus line 852, run every 20 minutes, allowing for comfortable commuting between the winemakers. The special fare for the shuttle is 10 euros per person and allows unlimited use of both lines and the Elbe ferry between Seußlitz and Niederlommatzsch throughout the day. Children up to school age travel free of charge on the special shuttle.

The Besen Shacks Haselbusch invites you to enjoy Flammkuchen and wine with a spectacular view directly in the vineyard under the Friedensburg over the weekend. At "Flack's", there's the opportunity to taste a total of 16 Saxon wines on Thursday and Friday.

The Open Wine Estates Days in Saxony are not just a wine event; they are a celebration of regional identity and a highlight for tourists visiting Dresden Elbland. Many guests from within and outside Germany learn about the peculiarity of wine or wine-growing in Elbland during their visit and appreciate the high variety of sorts or special grape varieties like the Goldriesling, which is only grown in significant quantities in Elbland.
