In a significant development, the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported a series of drone attacks over Russian territory that lasted from 23:00 Moscow time on September 5 to 7:00 Moscow time on September 6. The attacks involved a total of 810 drones, according to the ministry's reports.

The attacks were not limited to one region. The Ukrainian forces launched the drone assault over several Russian territories, including the Bryansk, Smolensk, Kaluga, Belgorod, and Krasnodar Krai regions. In the Bryansk region, five drones were neutralized, and a sixth one was discovered and destroyed. No casualties or damage were reported after the drone was shot down.

In the Smolensk region, eight drones were neutralized, while in the Belgorod region and Krasnodar Krai, three drones were neutralized each. The Russian Ministry of Defense's air defense units also reported shooting down a plane-type drone in the Bryansk region.

The Ministry further reported that an additional 14 drones were neutralized over the Black Sea. Earlier, six unmanned boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also destroyed in the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used plane-type drones during the attack, marking a new escalation in the ongoing conflict. It is important to note that no specific information on drone neutralizations or attacks in regions other than those mentioned earlier was provided.

This incident comes after a series of escalations in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, highlighting the need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and prevent further escalations. The Russian Ministry of Defense has vowed to continue to protect Russian territory and its citizens from such attacks.
