Unlawful Intrusion: Forbach Found Guilty of Burglary
Late Wednesday evening, a break-in occurred at the Schwarzenbach Dam Kiosk and an adjacent building in Offenburg. A suspect, aged 18, was caught red-handed by a patrol from Freudenstadt, tampering with the door of the Kiosk.
The incident was first noticed by a witness around 11:30 PM due to light movements and scraping noises. Upon arrival, both a patrol from Gaggenau and a patrol from the neighboring police station in Freudenstadt responded to the scene.
The suspect, believed to have gained forced entry into a room in the adjacent building using tools, was found rummaging through drawers and cabinets, taking stolen goods. The stolen items reportedly include both tools and a bicycle, which the suspect apparently used to get to the Kiosk.
The Police Headquarters Offenburg is currently investigating the break-in at the kiosk at Schwarzenbach Reservoir. The perpetrators have not been publicly identified as of yet.
