In the early hours of September 5th, a traffic accident occurred on Dortmunder Ostwall near KaiserstraรŸe in Dortmund. The incident, preliminarily believed to be due to an illegal street race, resulted in significant property damage but no reported injuries.

Two young men, aged 22 and 28, were engaged in the race. The fleeing participant, a 22-year-old man from Dortmund, was identified by the local police, while the other participant, a 28-year-old man from Sohren, was located at the scene.

The collision occurred when the innocent driver, aged 31 from Dortmund, attempted to change lanes. As a result, one of the participants lost control of their vehicle, leading to the accident.

The damage to property is estimated to be in the five-digit range, with the estimated property damage exceeding 10,000 euros. The 28-year-old from Sohren's vehicle spun off the road as a result of the collision.
