Intruders Baffle Police in Bocholt Break-In
A mysterious break-in in Bocholt has left local authorities puzzled, as the unknown burglars made off with no loot and didn't seem to have a clear motive.
According to reports, the intruders entered the house sometime before 02:00 hours, with the door left open behind them. The owner's dog started barking around the same time, which may have driven the intruders away.
The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. They are actively seeking witnesses who may have information about the strange occurrence.
Interestingly, a similar incident occurred in Rhede, where intruders entered through an unlocked door but fled without stealing after being scared off by a dog. The police are seeking information from the public about both incidents.
Inside the house, the intruders opened a cash box, but it was empty when they found it. They did not take any valuables from the house.
