Two Drivers in Pirmasens, Germany, Temporarily Losed Their Driving Privileges Due to Intoxication
On June 6, two separate incidents occurred in the city of Pirmasens, Germany, resulting in the temporary revocation of driving privileges for two individuals. The Pirmasens Police Department conducted traffic stops in Kirchberg Street and Winzler Street on this day.
The first incident involved a moped rider in Kirchberg Street. At around 6:10 PM, a blood test was conducted, and further driving was prohibited after signs of drug intoxication were detected. The head of the Pirmasens Police Department, Marco Weißgerber, mentioned in the given press release.
The second incident involved an 18-year-old driver of an E-scooter in Winzler Street. Approximately half an hour later, at approximately 6:34 PM, a traffic stop was made, and a blood test was conducted. The results showed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. As with the first incident, further driving was prohibited.
Both drivers now face an administrative offense procedure in Pirmasen. News aktuell reported on these incidents, which were transmitted by the Pirmasens Police Department. In both cases, signs of drug and/or alcohol intoxication were detected, and blood tests were conducted.
