In a coordinated operation led by the Federal Police Directorate Koblenz, three suspects were arrested today in various locations across Germany. The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into a brothel operation suspected of smuggling foreigners into the country for profit, evading social security contributions, tax evasion, and attempted obstruction of justice.

The suspects, including a 69-year-old German national, a 51-year-old German national, a 44-year-old German national, and a 51-year-old Chinese national, are accused of various offenses. The 51-year-old German national is alleged to have run the brothel, while the 69-year-old is accused of driving prostitutes to hotel and house visits, providing them with supplies, and placing advertisements on erotic platforms.

The 44-year-old suspect is alleged to have temporarily represented the 59-year-old suspect in business matters and to have been responsible for receiving calls from customers as a telephone operator. The identity of the 59-year-old suspect was not disclosed in the provided information. The 51-year-old Chinese national's role in the operation remains unclear.

The operation, which involved 205 officers from the Federal Police Inspectorate for Combating Crime in Frankfurt/Main and seven officers from the tax investigation department of the Darmstadt tax office, took place in locations such as Koblenz, Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden, Hochheim, Biblis, Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, Buerstadt, Bischofsheim, Mainz-Kostheim, and Ludwigshafen am Rhein.

During the extensive searches, numerous pieces of evidence, particularly mobile phones and data carriers, were secured. Additionally, various items were seized, including approximately 15 grams of cocaine/amphetamines, 24 mobile phones, 3 notebooks, 1 PC, 1 hard drive, various correspondence, and two high-end handbags worth around 35,000 euros. Assets, including cash and jewelry, were secured as potential proceeds of crime, with a total of 48,815 euros in cash and jewelry worth approximately 35,000 euros being seized.

The proceedings against the suspects are still ongoing. The three suspects arrested today will be presented to the judge at the Darmstadt Regional Court tomorrow, who will decide on the enforcement of the arrest warrants. The Public Prosecutor's Office Frankfurt am Main - Special Unit -, the Federal Police Inspectorate for Combating Crime Frankfurt/Main, and the Tax Office of the Darmstadt Tax Office were involved in the searches.

The 51-year-old suspect is accused of evading social security and tax payments in her brothel operation since 2019, resulting in an estimated total social security loss of around 190,000 euros, a VAT loss of around 230,000 euros, and an estimated income tax loss of around 100,000 euros.
