Unknown perpetrators rob a 13-year-old in Freiburg-Betzenhausen, authorities seek witnesses for investigation
In an unsettling incident, a 13-year-old boy was attacked at the tram stop "Bissierstraße" on Berliner Allee in Freiburg on August 17, 2025, at around 7:15 PM.
According to the Freiburg Criminal Police, the assailant approached the boy from the adjacent commuter parking lots and attacked him with punches. The suspect snatched the boy's monthly transit pass during the attack, but thankfully, the victim was unharmed following the incident.
The Freiburg Criminal Police are actively investigating the case and are seeking witnesses with any information about the suspect. As of now, the identity of the suspect remains unknown. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction after the attack.
