Unknown individual opens terrace door.
A break-in at a single-family home in Kerpen-Türnich is currently under investigation by the Rhein-Erft District Police. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, August 21, on Ursfelder Straße.
The homeowner returned home around 10 a.m. and discovered the terrace door open. Upon entering, they noticed signs of forced entry and several drawers and cabinets that had been rummaged through. The homeowner immediately contacted the police, and officers arrived to secure the scene and take the victim's statement.
Upon further investigation, crime scene investigators found evidence at the scene. However, the identity of the suspect(s) involved in the break-in remains unknown at this time.
