Unknown Assailants Beat DB Employee; Police Seek Witnesses
On Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, an assault occurred in the 1st class compartment of S-Bahn S2 at Stuttgart-Vaihingen station. According to the Bundes Police Inspectorate Stuttgart, a 26-year-old train employee was assaulted, causing him to fall against the door.
The suspect, described as a man aged 25 to 35 with a trimmed full beard, was wearing a grey t-shirt with a black long-sleeved top underneath and a baseball cap. He was accompanied by four others.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly knocked the employee's mobile phone out of his hand, causing minor damage. A scuffle ensued on the floor between the employee and the unknown suspect. After the incident, the suspect and his companions fled in an unknown direction.
The Federal Police have initiated investigations into the assault and damage to property. They are appealing for witnesses who can provide any relevant information about the incident or the suspect.
